Herb Crusted Halibut
This oven baked herb crusted halibut is a simple, healthy and delicious dinner idea. All you need is a few ingredients and 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 Wild caught halibut filets , I use Sizzlefish
- ¼ cup fresh parsley , chopped
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- ½ lemon juice
- ½ tbsp dried thyme
- ½ tbsp dried basil
- ½ tbsp dried rosemary
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F. Place halibut fillets in a large baking dish or on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush fish with approx. 1 Tbsp of olive oil.
- In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients (except lemon) for the herb topping. Stir together well. Spoon mixture onto fillets. Gently press the mixture down so that it sticks.
- Place cod in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. If your cod is on the thinner side, you may choose to cook it about 12 minutes. The fish should be opaque and flake easily when done! Top with a squeeze of lemon juice.
