I challenge any veggie haters to not devour these crispy, "cheesy" roasted broccoli florets! They are made dairy free by using nutritional yeast and packed with nutrients.
Preheat oven to 425. In a large bowl toss broccoli with olive oil, nutritional yeast, almond flour, and salt. Make sure it is evenly coated.
Spread broccoli over a baking sheet. Once the oven is preheated, bake for about 25-30 minutes. I like mine crispy.
Enjoy!
Notes
Nutritional yeast is an incredible superfood that gives this dish a nutty, cheesy flavor. Let's break down some of the amazing benefits of nutritional yeast:
Contains anti-bacterial & anti-viral properties
Improves digestion
Helps preserve immune function
Good source of protein - containing at least 9 of the 18 essential amino acids that the body can't produceÂ
High in B vitamins - B12, thiamine, riboflavin, vitamin B6 and folate. All of which  are key vitamins crucial to cell metabolism, mood regulation, nerve function and more, but they’re also critical to ensuring a healthy pregnancy.
