Banana Snickers

These banana snickers bites are the perfect sweet treat and I love having a batch in my freezer to grab when my sweet tooth kicks in. These are the perfect mixture of chocolate and peanut butter with some added protein to keep you feeling satisfied for longer.

Ingredients
 

  • 2 bananas, halved and sliced down the middle
  • cup peanut butter
  • ½ scoop vanilla protein powder, I use Be Well By Kelly
  • cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp coconut oil, melted

Instructions
 

  • Slice bananas and put on a plate. Mix together peanut butter & protein powder (I like adding the protein powder a little at a time to get the perfect consistency).
  • Spread pb mixture generously on the bananas.
  • Add coconut oil and chocolate to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 30 second increments. Mix together until smooth.
  • Drizzle chocolate on banana & pb. Top with chopped nuts. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes and enjoy!
