The Best Crispy Salmon

It’s no surprise that I love salmon, we have it at least 1-2x a week! It is one of my favorite ways to get protein in, packs a punch with healthy fats and loaded with vitamins & minerals. So you need to trust me when I say that this is the BEST salmon! The tried and true way of making the perfect salmon that is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.

Ingredients
 

  • 2 filets wild caught salmon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat a cast iron skillet with olive oil until oil is hot. Preheat oven to 425.
  • While the skillet is heating season salmon with salt and pepper. Then place onto the hot skillet skin side up.
  • Sear for 3-5 minutes then place cast iron into oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Take out of the oven and enjoy!!
